According to the “Regulation on Foreign Language Teaching and Foreign Language Teaching in Higher Education Institutions” published in the Official Gazette No. 29662 dated March 23, 2016, “students who cannot successfully complete the preparatory class within two years are disconnected from the program.”

Students in this situation can continue their studies in accordance with the legislation in the field of study, if applicable, at the Turkish teaching institution of the same program at the university in which they are studying or in another equivalent higher education institution under the “Procedures for Placement of Students Who Fail in Compulsory Foreign Language Preparatory Classes to Turkish Teaching Higher Education Programs” to be carried out by ÖSYM.
